This place was recommended by a Taxi driver to be a decent place for dinner on a Friday.....just five minutes from Leon's zoological garden. That was a big understatement! Got there with my wife and two young kids at 9 pm and left at 12 am after a great meal accompanied by non-stop Mariachi music. Borregos has full dinner menu, playground area for kids, very economical menu, and free valet parking. That's a definite must if you are looking for great food, live music, and great service*****!

Very pleased from this beautiful place. We went on a Tuesday. The place was busy, yet amazing good service and incredible food. The only items could be better are the potato wedges (served cold) and the beans weren't tasteful. Everything else was absolutely delicious and wonderful. Much appreciated. Next time we want to go on the weekend, apparently it is more going on on the weekend.

One of the most traditional places in Leon for Mexican food. Food is authentic as it gets, delicious, with a wide variety of dishes. This place has been there for decades, and always delivering great service and food quality. You can see how careful the owners are to keep this place top over so many years. They have plenty of space for families, group of friends, or dates. The mariachi makes the place vibrant and even more authentic Mexican experience. It’s a no miss in the city of Leon.

If you want to have a great time in leon GTO this is the place to go. Great food and great service. The ambiance is fun and relaxing. They have singers from the voice, mariachi, great imitators that come out on TV. The drinks are amazing. If you go ask for Efren he will give you such a great service. Highly recommend.
